Everyone in the House calls him Cross. The full name — Cross from Icy Soder Runevik — is offered without explanation. What Icy Soder Runevik is, where it is, what it cost him to leave — Cross has never said. The cold he carries is his own, and he is not forthcoming about where it came from.
What is known: he is the most well-rounded agent in the House of Gauldar. Where others are built around a singular identity — patience, inevitability, chaos, endurance — Cross can do most things adequately and several things exceptionally. Brain. Force. Life. Space. Shield. Honor. The range alone is unusual. The execution is what makes it matter.
Cross is the House's hunter — the agent who can actually give chase when others cannot. He carries enough range to pressure fast opponents from a distance, enough close-range capability to finish what he starts, and the rare ability to grow harder to kill as a match goes on. He does not arrive at peak strength. He builds toward it — steadily, coldly, without announcement. By late game, what began as versatile has become formidable.
The Bottom 50% standing sits beside the record of an agent still being understood — by the Firmament, and perhaps by the House itself. There is a ceiling here that has not yet been reached. Whether that is a question of time, of mastery, or of something Cross is simply not ready to reveal, remains to be seen.
He is, by any measure, the most complete agent Gauldar has under contract. The numbers will catch up to that eventually. They always do.
